twist of fate..

25days left to IIUM Kuantan..
in my head, i've been swallowing the fact that i'll be an audiologist..
and yes.. i've accepted the fact..
till yesterday..
when abang told me that physiotherapy course is approved by the ministry..
and the course is now open..
and optometry now has vacancies..
and i have my chance to be taking up my first choice..

i'm the type that hate changes..
it took time for me to accept the fact that i'll be taking up audiology..
and now to change it back to optometry?? o.O
at first i decided to just stay in audiology..
coz i've been brainwashing myself to accept it..

then this morning, i woke up with an itch on my right hand..
superstitious me said that something good is going to happen..
then wani sent me a text, saying that she got in physio..
so it's a reality.. physio is a reality now..
no longer a fantasy or a dream that shattered for those who asked for it..

i went to my parents, telling them that there's a chance..
then they started telling me thing that i think they've been hiding all these time..
"audio requires lots of reading & memorising.. you barely made it through biology & history.."
"you know how you are with counting.. n how you found out how good you are with physics.."
yada3..
then i remembered a thought of mine that can kill all the brainwashing..
"kena tengok dlm telinga orang n clean it!"
:O that's the reason why i don't even consider of taking up dentistry..
i have issues with things that not everyone cleans it like i do.. *perasan*

besides, syaheera, fatin & hasrul put physio as their first choice..
so i might not know anyone if i stay there..
amirah is also leaving..

so i called uia kuantan..
a few attempts later, the officer from Kuliyyah of Allied Health Sciences answered..
me : hello, assalamualaikum kak.. saye nak tukar course boleh?
her : waalaikummussalam.. awak ni mintak tukar course mcm nak beli topup je..
me : hehe.. course opto ade kosong lagi tak kak?
her : emm, sebenarnya kami xhabis call lagi orang dlm list ni.. nama awak ape ye? dulu course ape?
me : oh yeke.. saya nadiah binti rashidi.. dulu course audio.. nak tukar ke opto..
her : kjap ye.. akak tengok dlm list dulu.. mane lah tau name awak dah ade dah.. lagipun yang mana dah dapat ni, xboleh reject.. wajib terima.. so klw xde nama awak ni, xde la kekosongan..
me : okay..
her : *must be going through the list* nadiah binti rashidi ye? dulu audio?
me : ha'ah.. ha'ah.. ye saya..
her : haa.. nama awak ade dah dlm list ni.. awk dapat opto..
me : *grinning like nobody's business* so skarang ni mcm mane kak? offer letter? documents?
her : okay, nnt lepas raya awak check balik offer letter tu.. kalau ada, awk bwk dua2 offer audio & opto tu masa register nanti.. kalau xde, bawak je yg audio tu nnt.. ok?
me : okay kak! trima kasih kak! selamat berbuka kak!
her : haha.. okay3.. sama2..

*jumped up & down & went to mak & ayah & still jumping up & down*
haha..
then i just went into the room, thanked Him, thanked him and just cried!

50 students are involved in this transaction..
24 will be filling the new physiology course..
and the remaining 26 will fill the empty spots in the other 5 courses..
*maybe it's 25/25, i'm not so sure*
but alhamdulillah, i sure am grateful for being selected as the 50 lucky ones..
