aiming for the stars!! :D

have you guys heard of the phrase
"aim for the stars, even if you fail, you'll still be among the clouds"?

well, as i've been telling in the previous posts,
i really3 want to take up medicine..
but geniuses are EVERYWHERE!! and i'm not one of them..
i'm just one of the average joes..
making it harder even to change courses..
i've given up so many times.. especially when things were getting harder..

but then i saw something in my friend's car..
something that i have always wanted to have.. it may seem silly..
a stethoscope and a name tag with "Kuliyyah of Medicine" on it.. :O
but girls always make small & petty things very symbolic..

then i called my mum last night..
she said something that she always does, but it hits me all the time..
"no matter what your choice is, you know i'll always have your back, right? just do your best.. i know what my daughter is capable of.."
geez, suddenly i miss her so much.. :(

i've put my foot down.. i'm putting the petty & unimportant things aside..
and focus on what REALLY matters; my future..
i pasted something on the wall next to my bed:just a way to keep my head way up high..

but plan B is still valid as part of the clouds that will catch me if i slip.. :)
